Philly Weather Legend John Bolaris Joins SNJ Today News
John Bolaris, a former weatherman on Philadelphia’s FOX 29, will host the weather portion of SNJ Today’s southern New Jersey news show broadcasted at 7 and 11 p.m. weeknights to 3 million households in the Delaware Valley and available on-demand at snjtoday.com. “I truly appreciate hard working, passionate people that have that rare desire to persevere,” Bolaris said about the SNJ Today news team, “I’m looking forward to just having fun on the set.”
Bolaris, who was the weatherman on FOX from 2008 to 2011 and then worked for two years as a weather contributor for Philly.com, has since founded his own weather wire service and is working in real estate in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania markets.
Stepping in for SNJ Today’s regular forecaster Nor’easter Nick, Bolaris’ weather forecast can be seen this week at 7 and 11 p.m. on SNJ Today cable channel 22 in Cumberland County, on WACP’s channel 4 and 26 as well as HD channel 789, and on-demand at snjtoday.com.
