Trader Joe’s ready to expand
The popular Trader Joe’s supermarket, at 22nd & Market Streets, is about to expand. Trader Joe’s specializes in organic and healthy food at a lower price than most other supermarkets provide for similar items. The expansion will double the size of the store, with more shelf space and more cashiers. It will use former office space in the building it is in, 2121 Market Street. The expansion is said to be starting and could be done sometime next year. This would be a great addition to the neighborhood, since the current store is so popular that it is often difficult to walk around.
