Where to Watch the July 4th Fireworks in Philadelphia 2021
This year, Philadelphia welcomes residents and visitors for the return of in-person July Fourth celebrations! Wawa Welcome America, the city’s Independence Day celebration that stretches for 16 days, is a great way to get back to appreciating our country getting back to normal. If you love fireworks and love celebrating the 4th of July, check out some of these places that are hosting beautiful firework celebrations!
Benjamin Franklin Parkway
Beginning at 8 p.m., you can hang out at any spot along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway from Logan Circle to Eakins Oval ahead of the 9:30 p.m. show! The entire street is shut down in honor of the celebration — and you really can’t beat the view of the Philadelphia Museum of Art during the display.
Schuylkill Banks and Boardwalk
Fireworks-watchers here will find lots of grass for comfortable set ups for the evening, as well as a beautiful view of the Philadelphia Museum of Art! It also offers a waterfront spot with fantastic views of the Philadelphia skyline!
Lemon Hill
Lemon Hill, home of a gorgeous mansion with curving walls, offers lots of space to set up lawn chairs and blankets in Fairmount Park. And the bonus is that the elevation makes for great fireworks views!
